If you’re a woman who has alleged that President Donald Trump has sexually harassed you, then you’re lying. At least according to White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. That’s the White House’s official position on this, she said Friday, according to The Hill.
Huckabee Sanders Defends Her Lying Boss
She was responding to a question by Jacqueline Alemany, of CBS News, The Washington Post reported. Alemany asked:
“Obviously, sexual harassment has been in the news. At least 16 women accused the president of sexually harassing them throughout the course of the campaign. Last week, during a press conference in the Rose Garden, the president called these accusations ‘fake news.’ Is the official White House position that all of these women are lying?”
Huckabee Sanders response?
“Yes, we’ve been clear on that from the beginning and the president has spoken on it.”
Apparently, the poor woman believes everything that comes out of her boss’s mouth. But then she’s paid to do that, after all.
Earlier in October, Trump said that the allegations against him, which largely came out of that horrifying 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape that was filled with his lewd comments about women, were all “made up stuff.”
“All I can say is it’s totally fake news — just fake,” he said at a press briefing. “It’s fake, it’s made up stuff. And it’s disgraceful what happens.”
However, during Trump’s 2016 campaign, 11 women came forward, accusing him of unwanted touching or kissing. And others have accused him of walking in on them as they were undressing at beauty pageants he owned.
But as soon as these allegations were made public, Trump claimed they were “total fiction,” CNN reports.
“These are stories that are made up, these are total fiction. You’ll find out that, in the years to come, these women that stood up, it was all fiction,” he stated. “They were made up. I don’t know these women, it’s not my thing to do what they say.”
You can interpret that last sentence in whatever way that you wish. Trump clearly doesn’t respect women. You don’t need to read that one off of a billboard to know that’s clear.
But Trump says he’s the one who’s a victim. Not the women who have to deal with this for the rest of their lives. He asserts that he’s a victim of one of the “great political smear campaigns in the history of our country.”
Huckabee Sanders Is Harming Women Who Have Been Victimized
The mighty are falling. Except for Trump and his lapdog press secretary, who keeps following him around to clean up his messes. Huckabee Sanders is being delusional and/or deceitful, and she’s betraying other women. Who never asked to be harassed in the first place.
Shame on her for doing this.
