Anthony Scaramucci was the White House Communications Director for less than two weeks. While in the position, Scaramucci managed to create a tidal wave of controversy. His phone interview with the New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza was a profanity laden, vulgar tirade against White House staff. Scaramucci tweeted about the phone call, that took place last month, Wednesday night.
Wednesday night Anthony Scaramucci tweeted about his phone interview with Ryan Lizza. Scaramucci has previously acknowledged that he gave Lizza permission to tape the conversation.
He also accused Lizza of taping him without permission, a statement contradicted by his previous assertions.
Monica Lewinsky Responds
Monica Lewinsky responded Thursday to Anthony Scaramucci’s tweet that referenced Linda Tripp. Linda Tripp famously secretly recorded conversations with the White House intern Monica Lewinsky in the 1990’s. In those conversations she got Lewinsky to discuss details of her affair with then President Bill Clinton.
Monica Lewinsky is now 44 and an anti-cyber bullying advocate. In response to Scaramucci’s Linda Tripp reference, Lewinsky tweeted a single emoji,
