Twitter Users Celebrate After Sean Hannity Gets Bounced Off The Site

Twitter users are having a hearty chuckle after Sean Hannity’s account mysteriously and briefly vanished in the early hours of Saturday morning, right after he posted an odd (even by his standards) tweet, which has since been taken down.

Hannity Was Weird… As Usual

But according to the Huffington Post, here’s what Hannity tweeted:

“Form submission 1649 #Hannity.”

What that means is anyone’s guess, but shortly afterward, users trying to access Hannity’s account found this, as the Twitter user and Right Side Broadcasting reporter Steve Lookner noted:

But like bad beer and stale pizza, Hannity’s account popped back up again a few hours later.

And Hannity is complaining. Just like his idol, President Donald Trump, he’s whining on Twitter.

At least one user couldn’t resist ridiculing the Fox News host.

But in the face of Hannity’s brief misfortune, more than a few of the Twitterati were happy:

Others were happy to see the conservative host’s conspiracy theory fans having a meltdown:

And some of his followers, responding to writer Yashar Ali, did think there was some sort of conspiracy, Mediaite reports. Or perhaps their responses were tongue-in-cheek. With Hannity followers, you just never know.

And then this:

Others expressed their gratitude:

While others couldn’t resist a joke or two:

A Twitter spokesperson said the Fox News host’s account was “briefly compromised:

“While we normally do not discuss individual accounts, for privacy and security reasons, we have permission from the account owner to confirm that account was briefly compromised,” the spokesperson said. “We are working with the owner to restore access.”

Which was indeed restored, around 4:45 Saturday morning. But it still isn’t clear what exactly happened to the account.

This is reminiscent of the time when President Donald Trump’s #realdonaldtrump account vanished for a few minutes in November 2017. Twitter blamed that one on a rogue employee.

Believe me; the world needs more rogue employees.
